Overall the stay was good. However, my room number was given to another guest and he tried to get into my room when I was there. It was a bit unnerving knowing someone else had the code to my room. I also noticed some small flies (drain fleas?) in the bathroom but that was pretty minor. The room was comfortable, clean and I had a great time in Boyne City.

Great room close to the lake and shopping. The entire area was hit with damaging snow and ice all winter but the property owners must have worked extremely hard to keep up. The ice unit needs replaced, but besides that the beds were heaven, the parking lot was recently sealed and striped and the staff went out of their way to be accommodating.

Last minute booking for a quick overnight. Everything was easy and comfortable. I arrived after the office was closed but I called and they sent me my room access code by text. Honestly, I like having an access code better than a key. I wasn't there very long but Boyne City looks charming. If I were staying a while I think the Boyne City Motel would be a good place to stay and enjoy the town. It was within walking distance of the shops with a nice park across the street, not far from Lake Charlevoix and had good parking.

We stayed for 2 nights. Had an issue with the heat in our room the first night and they quickly moved us to a different room. Both rooms were clean and the beds were comfortable. Staff was very friendly. We loved the popcorn in the room, it was a nice touch. The hotel is a great location to walk downtown Boyne. We would stay there again.
