This is a great place to stay! An incredible little room stocked with every amenity you could need. Loved the patio out back with glimpses of the St. Lawrence. Very well thought out. Great communication told us all we needed to know! Definitely walk down the hill to Alfred for dinner! Delicious and wonderful friendly staff. Would highly recommend this lovely little motel! One of the best places we stayed in all of Gaspesie.

We stayed one night as a family of three in a room with two double beds. The beds were good and the room had everthing we need for a quick stop. Only complain was the walls between the rooms are thin and you can hear noise from the other guests. Overall, a decent place to rest for the night.

Very clean and cozy room. There was no in-person check-in or key required. You just needed your room number and door code. The area is very quiet at night and mostly quiet in the day. I'd definitely stay here again if I came through the area in the future.

We found Motel du Village last minute and were happy with our stay. There were no issues, but it’s important to note that this is a self-check-in motel with just five rooms—there’s no on-site staff or reception. You receive a code to unlock your room. If you’re arriving late, be aware that there aren’t nearby restaurants, so plan ahead for dinner and breakfast. We were fortunate to find a restaurant in the next town that closes at 9 pm: Restaurant La Marée Haute The rooms have a balcony where you can sit and relax, and the space is decent. However, the beds are only doubles rather than queen-sized, and the shower is a compact stand-up design. Overall, a simple, clean, and convenient spot if you plan ahead and value privacy and quiet.
