Great host, exceptional cleanness. Healthy amazing breakfast.
What a lovely gem of a place which was so welcoming and provided simply the best breakfast you could wish for. What with their own chicken eggs, sausages and fresh home baked bread, you can't go wrong! Janet is a lovely lady who likes to make you feel very welcome. I will be re visiting for sure
Janet our host was very welcoming and relaxed. Nothing appeared to much trouble during our one night stay. The location was very convenient for our attendance at a nearby wedding.
Great location, close to Goodwood and great pub The White Hart in South Hartling.
Very dog friendly, good walks nearby and wonderful breakfast.
Will definitely be returning next year.
A cosy bed and breakfast, not a hotel as some people have wrongly believed, which was ideal for my wife and I as we visited family in the area and local villages. Although the facilities may not be as modern as some places, all was clean and comfy.
Janet and Ian are very friendly hosts and the classic full English breakfast, including eggs from the hens and ducks in the garden, was always delicious.

An English country side experience
It is an Bed and Breakfast in a country side home. The host were very kind and hospitable. It felt like being a guest in your grandma's house. They accomodated our schedule with no complaints.
The hostess is perfectly friendly and provided a nice breakfast and was helpful. That said, this accommodation is over-priced considering how old fashioned it is with a relatively remote location on the side of a busy road. Local taxi drivers taking the Micky for a short drive to the s harming village pub, which has better located rooms too.
It was a wonderful stay, Janet and Ian so lovely, beautiful surroundings, super clean accommodation, great cooked breakfast with home produce, I look forward to visiting again 🙂
We booked for one night, very last minute on Saturday, but Janet, the host, was very accomodating and kind even though it was late. The 3 of us friends stayed in a family room which was clean, warm and comfortable with a big ensuite. The room had everything you would need. Janet was very friendly and attentive and cooks a great full English too! This is a very dog-friendly place to stay which meant i felt relaxed rather than worried / in the way. Thank you for your hospitality, Janet!

Excellent breakfast and lovely comfy bed. We were allowed to check in early and they were very helpful throughout our visit.
I had a lovely stay here after a wedding at the Tithe Barn just up the road (short 8mins walk).
The host was great - good communication, personable and flexible.
Lovely room and comfy bed. Everything was immacualtely clean and well presented.
I'd be very happy to stay again.
The owner/hostess was wonderful with us. Friendly and relatable, and helpful. The breakfasts both days were exceptional. The rooms were good and the bathroom very clean.
A clean and friendly B&B in the heart of the national park.
Dog friendly, and ideal for anyone wanting to enjoy walking etc.
Note that this is a B&B with a private bathroom in the owners' home, so you will walk through their home to get to your room.
Also note that this is a working smallholding and you may be woken at dawn by a cockerel and/or other livestock.
Note also that there are no pubs or restaurants within walking distance once you are there, though you are a very short drive from Petersfield and Harting, which has a number of options.
Very comfortable room, lovely little touches to make our stay enjoyable. Beautiful cooked breakfast each day with fresh eggs from the owners own hens and ducks. Daily made fresh bread too! Was an ideal stay to attend a wedding at Tithe Barn nearby also.
