My wife and I were were very pleased. The price for the area was great and the room pleasantly clean and in good order. We were shown a couple rooms and treated kindly. Overall a good experience. With a little more love the whole place could be great.

Rough Around the Edges but Got the Job Done

The motel is not in the most glamorous area and is not the most beautiful I've ever seen by any means. But, I was only looking for someplace comfortable to sleep for a couple nights while I was in town for the Richmond NASCAR race, and this facility served that role very well. The room was comfortable, which was all I was really concerned about.

The pictures are from 1990 or so. The building is not even the same color. The room was clean but old and damaged. The bath tub was hand painted. The pool is nasty and the grounds were nasty. Despite this the people were friendly. I believe they tried to upgrade but it was done in a hurry. It was cheap, it's pictures were night and day different. It was comfortable enough for the price. It needs a major make over. I have pictures but there is no place to upload them. Thanks!

The door wasn’t properly sealed & you could see light all the way around. The curtains were torn. There was no breakfast as the pictures portrayed. The location was sketchy. We ended up not staying (got a refund) due the fact that I felt that I couldn’t leave my vehicle unattended. There were people hanging around outside when I got there around 10pm. Women who I can only assume that they were prostitutes. Men, who could I only assume that were drug dealers. This property is not what it appears to be on the website.

Curtain was off rail and I couldn’t block the room out of the light from outside. No one answered at reception to help fix. Vibration from nearby highway was so loud it interrupted my sleep. Bathtub appeared dirty with its paint peeled off. I don’t plan to return.

Dirty noisy and all over rated was terrible and not the safest place to be and nothing but drama and chaos all night with roaches on the walls and windows molded as well as the smell was awful as if poop was lingering around.
