Family visit - great hotel

Owner was really helpful, looked after my family during the stay. Food was great, staff are amazing and friendly. Cannot recommend the hotel enough. The bar is good too!

Excellent, friendly host made us very welcome and was so attentive to our needs. All meals were of a very high standard, ser ved hot and quickly. Breakfast buffet was exceptional. Beds were comfortable and towels were fluffy!

St Olaf Golf Hotel is an outstanding destination that truly delivers on every level. Its location is exceptional, set right next to a world-class golf course, making it perfect for both avid golfers and those simply looking to enjoy beautiful surroundings. The recently upgraded rooms are stylish and comfortable, with some offering breathtaking panoramic views of the ocean and course, along with spacious sitting areas that make it easy to relax and unwind. The on-site restaurant is another highlight, serving excellent food and drinks in a welcoming atmosphere. The staff are consistently friendly and attentive, adding to the overall experience. A special mention goes to Kevin, the host, who goes above and beyond to ensure every guest feels comfortable and well looked after. Highly recommended and I am already looking forward to my next visit.

Hidden gem in Cruden Bay

Excellent location just a short walk to first tee at Cruden Bay Golf Club. Very friendly owner and staff. Room was neat and tidy albeit a bit dated. I was in room 3 and had sweeping views out over the golf course. Bar and sports bar both had a good vibe and were well stocked. Great place for a stay in this area that has many excellent golf courses a bit of the beaten track.

One of the best hotel stays we've ever had!

An absolutely beautiful stay! The owners of the hotel instantly make you feel welcome and at home. The views from the hotel are breathtaking and the rooms are clean, spacious and quiet. The food in the restaurant was perfectly cooked, wether it was breakfast, lunch or dinner. The hotel staff was friendly and very helpful. I can't say enough good things about our stay. We will recommend this hotel to everyone we know. We are thankful to the hotel for their hospitality which went above and beyond. We can't wait to come back!

Lovely kind host.

Very welcoming host, we had an extremely early start to day after our stay and as a result Alison made us a packed lunch. A lovely very kind touch, overall the stay was fab at a great price.
