An average hotel in the heart of the city. Definitely needs a refurb as the rooms are very run down. The price reflects this, so if you are on a budget this place will do. Restaurant had nice food for a good price.

Good location and clean

Room was cleaned everyday except Sunday. Towels changed daily. Room bigger than most hotel of the same type. Very close to train station and shops.

I enjoyed my stay, my room and the staff were very helpful. I waited a while for my meal, but it was worth the wait. I liked where it was situated too. It was close to public transport for me to get to airport

This Hotel, while a little tired, is very comfortable and convenient. I often stay here when I have to go to Perth for a night or two. Limited off street parking is an additional charge but reasonable. In house "pub" is welcoming. Easy walk everywhere in the CBD and to RPH.

Reception staff were helpful and room was good. A few cafes across the road and around the corner for quick take away food. One of the pillow cases had a stain on it though so put that pillow aside. Other than that, my stay was good.

I was concerned after reading the reviews prior to my 5 night stay at the Hotel. I shouldn’t have been concerned, as the staff were all brilliant, the room was clean and very large. Yes it could do with an upgrade, paint and modern furnishings, but definitely no complaints here. The Barrelhouse saloon downstairs provides great affordable meals. Thoroughly enjoyed my stay.

Comfortable, spacious (a walk-in wardrobe!) and clean room. It seems that the hotel has aged but everything was in a working order. I would request a room on a higher floors as on the 3rd one we could hear aircon from the neighbouring properties. Cafe downstairs has a very tasty breakfast.

Good spot on the egde of Perth City mall. Had to park a block away in Pier St Parking because onsite parking was full. Only whinge we found the bed quite hard. But it was only an overnight stay
