Economical close to heart of Fremantle.

An economical stay just 7 minutes drive from heart of Fremantle. Business trip so it suited fine. Across the road 24 hour IGA was handy. Only issue was water pressure in shower was not great otherwise the apartment did the job for me.

Comfortable

We were given pretty good instructions, but it was still a bit tricky to figure out where to go when we arrived at night. The bed was soooo comfy. It it a well appointed apartment. Local food places are excellent.

At first sight excellent, however no power at all for fridge tv Wi-Fi only lights. No one seemed to know how to rectify. Several calls later and a manager in reception telling my husband he had been in our room they had not but my husband found a fuse box outside of the room and reset it. The last day no hot water

Nice clean room. Front desk isn’t staffed most of the time, but usually isn’t a problem. Nice grocery store across the parking lot. Location is a bit remote for tourists.

Getting my access details was tricky as Wotif don’t share the details with the residences. None of the processes I was informed of in terms of how access would be communicated happened. Otherwise very convenient with a grocer etc across the road.

Overall good. The very spacious unit could do with some upgrading- e.g. kitchen sink faucet is dodgy, carpet badly stained in places. Some additional crockery and cutlery would be useful and avoid using the dishwasher with a very small load. Accessing the property by car is tricky but quite well located although not within walking distance of Freo centre.

Great value for money

The residences were excellent value for money with full sized washing machines and dryer in the suite, a well appointed kitchen and good sized refrigerator. There was plenty of secure parking. On site conveniences included a hairdressing salon (who fixed my bad haircut), a pharmacy and a nearby grocery store. South Terrace is easily accessed by public transport.
