We have stayed at this motel many times due to its convenient location near food outlets. We also appreciated the free secure parking, but were very disappointed to find that parking is now being charged at the rate of $15 a night.

very good motel

very good location whatever u choose to drive or walk. very easy to reach river side if u just need to walk couple minutes eastbound or southbound. the nearby community is also very good , silent & safe, just few steps to the beautiful Wellington square(park).

Location. I had a function at The Camfield next to Optus Stadium. I walked over the Matagurup Bridge to attend, and staggered back for a one night stay. A bed for the night, coffee in the morning, and a place to securely park my car had served its purpose well.

Our stay was great besides check in. We were a late check in which was communicated and received. But I never received the text messages about how we were supposed to retrieve our keys. Both email and SMS may be the better option. We called the number on the door which was another hotel, then they had to wake the manager to give us instructions to get into our room. They need to update reception hours on the front door as it states 11.00pm we were there at 10.30pm.

Fine for a night or two, basic and straight forward accommodation. The outside area can get a bit noisy and the deposit for incidentals seemed disproportionately high given I was only staying one night. Front door doesn’t open unless you’ve got a card and staff could be a bit friendlier. Motel is near to bus stops which means free buses to city centre which was helpful.

Not to far from city which is great. Did not like the noice from the people staying below me. Allowing their teens to run up and down the passage late at night and playing ball between peoples cars in the limited space in the parking area.
