We stayed at the Varenna Apartments and had a mixed experience. When we arrived, the apartment was clean and the second room with the kitchenette was a nice, cozy space with a sofa that converts into a bed, which was a nice feature.
However, there were several issues during our stay. We were a party of four, but there were only enough towels provided for two people. There was also no hot water on our first day, and it took some time to get in touch with the property management to report the issue. The hot water was working the following day, but we were never informed what the problem was or what had caused it.
The apartment does not provide room service, which is something to be aware of. Additionally, at night the doors are locked, and there is no way to enter unless you have the access code. Unfortunately, the code was not provided to us, which caused inconvenience.
After we were finally able to reach customer service, someone came and dropped off additional towels on the third and final day of our stay. While we appreciated the response, the delay meant we spent most of our stay without the proper number of towels.
Another issue was the curtains in the second room. They are very thin and do not block out sunlight, so the room becomes bright early in the morning, making it difficult for those who prefer to sleep in.
