“Enjoyed our visit to the Rose and Crown, Warwick. We were in the rooms on the square, which were well maintained, clean and additional equipment such as iron/ironing board (but no hairdryer) were provided. It was a heatwave weekend and fans were provided in the rooms. We had drinks in the evening, and breakfast at the pub in the morning, which was excellent. “Budget rooms, a little akin to a hostel. Car park covered in broken glass. Rooms and corridors smell of stale smoke masked with air freshener. Bedding was clean and comfortable, but chewing gum stuck to windowsill and picture hanging off wall. Blind broken (husband fixed so could pull down). Holes in walls and poorly fitting doors. People from bar using corridor for getting to car park and fire doors left open. I’m not even mentioning factors outside of the accommodations control such as noise...

“Sadly we stayed only for one night, the room was comfortable, clean and not much noise. Friendly staff and there is a bar- restaurant with plenty of choises, what we tried for dinner was good and breakfast was also nice. Free parking and WiFi.”

“Neat place above the pub. If staying in that section, the stairs are quite narrow to get checked luggage up - but doable. We booked through Expedia and it said no attendant on site - so there was confusion on where to leave our bags and we did not receive a response so we ended up paying Premier Inn to hold our bags.
