Lovely welcome at The Queens by the Receptionist. Hotel car park makes such a difference in busy Penzance. Very impressed by our sea-view room on first floor. Delicious breakfast the following morning. The 11am checkout gave us extra time. Such a lovely atmosphere at this hotel. Will come here again.

Easy check-in, very friendly and helpful staff, and a cooked-to-order breakfast were the stand-outs from my stay. There is good parking and the hotel is in a prime location with excellent views of the bay. This was my third stay at the Queens Hotel and I have no hesitation in booking again.

The Queen’s Hotel is another beautiful historic property, and it’s clear that considerable effort is being made to preserve its character while gradually renovating it. Our room had some attractive design features and retained period furniture, although a few pieces were showing their age with minor maintenance issues. The room itself was reasonably clean, though the carpets would benefit from either a thorough cleaning or replacement. Because of the hotel’s unique layout, reaching our room with luggage involved several flights of stairs despite there being a lift serving part of the building. The biggest downside for us was the Wi-Fi. The signal in our room was almost unusable, meaning we had to sit in the lounge to access the internet. The hotel also offers a paid premium Wi-Fi option for streaming, but given the poor signal in our area of the hotel, this wasn’t a practical solution. Reliable internet is something that is expected in most hotels today.

I've written such a positive review as i was supporting a visually impaired young adult with a physical disability also, from tim of check-in to time of departure the staff went above & beyond to make it an enjoyable stay with kindness & consideration for our needs. It's an old building but has plenty of character, the rooms had the best sea view you could ask for. Everything was clean and well presented in both rooms, we couldn't have asked for more. We had our evening meal & breakfast at the hotel, both where enjoyed with a fair choice and a fair price, service was also super friendly. Really couldn't have asked for more from start to finish, i would recommend and love to stay again. Well done to The Queen's Hotel ☺️

The breakfast was lovely. Freshly cooked, and with a varied menu. The property was clean and well kept, but a little dated. First flight of stairs is accessed by a chairlift, rather than a lift. There are then stairs to negotiate on the first floor, to get to the room.

I liked the room and after being out in the cold it was nice to get into a warm room. I was not too happy about the breakfast bacon I felt it had been over cooked and the choice of cut contained more fat than meat. Staff were great no complaints about them. I didnt have a beach view I overlooked the church and town in the distance.
