Beautifully decorated old building with lovely view of the sea from the dining room. Very close to the Promenade. Excellent food in the restaurant. Wonderful hairdresser and massage therapist businesses located in building. Friendly very helpful staff. Dog friendly. I had a wonderful relaxing time there and will return.

Staff were very friendly. Bedroom had some damage on the wall and some dust on the ceiling, but bedding smelled fresh and bathroom was clean and warm. Had a Philly cheese sandwich, a bit disappointed with it but dessert was very good (coconut pannacota)

The hotel shows its age; although, that is part of the local attraction and charm. Restaurant service was excellent, in particular. Front desk staff were very welcoming and helpful.

Perfectly situated within east walking distance of town centre, sea front and other facilities. Staff very friendly and helpful in lots of different ways, breakfast very good indeed (lots of choice) and rates very reasonable.
