This is a very quiet property that is just a short walk to the Hemmingway House and Southernmost Point for photo opportunities. With a longer walk or quick Uber ride, we found plenty of restaurants, museums and night life; including live music and views of a fantastic sunset.

The hotel is quiet and offers a peaceful atmosphere, making it an excellent choice for relaxation. It is conveniently located very close to a shopping center and a variety of dining options, providing easy access to everything you need. Additionally, the receptionist is extremely welcoming and professional, ensuring a pleasant and comfortable stay for all guests.

A definite great place to stay!

It was wonderful. I loved our place. The view was great, the unit was clean and well stocked. The location was perfect. I was disappointed about not having a signal on the TV’s, although they tried to fix that.

The place was clean and fairly well stocked. Check out at 10 is a little early. Overall is was a good place if you don’t care about updated furnishings. It was very well kept.

Byrd Getaway

We loved the unit. Spacious enough for four adults and two children and well stocked. The view of the Sound was nice and the pier and area around the unit was fun for the grandkids without being in the actual “beach”. The beach was just across the street and a little bit of a walk for someone who just had surgery, but manageable. Beds were not as comfortable as desired. The sliding door from the living room would not slide, however, the one from the master bed did work properly.

It was exactly what my family of 5 needed. Loved being able to bring some food and cook, and the views were amazing. Smaller set of condos meant my kids were able to enjoy the pool and not be too crowded

Very nice,older property. Stairs were a little bit wobbly and steep and we were right beside the pool so it was a little noisy with kids and loud music at night but those were my only two complaints. Definitely recommend

Lovely place to stay

Aside from so many flights of stairs and no elevator option the stay was very nice. Condos are very dated, cannot smoke on patio due to being screened in. Perfect spot for madi gras and when the construction is done outside will be praceful and pretty. Looking forward to docking the boat next time.

Adjoining condo woke us up at 3 am snoring so loud it sounded like they were in our bedroom. Paper thin walls. Shower jets did not work in master bath. Will never recommend this place

Great Location!

Location was great! Our condo was clean, but really could use some repairs. The floor was warped in several areas, bedroom and bathroom doors would not stay open due to the building settling leaning. With the salt air, the ceiling in master bathroom was rusty and peeling. Expected to run the dishwasher before leaving, but no dishwasher soap provided. Very thin walls, could hear neighbor talking and snoring.
