The property was close to the beach, driving distance to stores, Destin and dining. I felt safe on the property and loved that is was at the end of sabra Rosa Blvd. not a lot of traffic. My unit was dirty. Dishes had food and grime on then. Door handles were crusty and sticky. Kitchen counters were dirty with coffe stains that could have been wiped clean. The coffee maker leaked, and the dishwasher did not clean dishes. They do not have a frying pan to cook with. The unit was very spacious. Lots of room. Not a bad view considering it overlooked the lake not the ocean. Very quiet. Close to the pool. The unit would have been amazing… if it was cleaner. Updated would have been a plus but not a must.

The resort in itself was great! Staff and security was great! Room was best I have stayed at on Santa Rosa. It was the 4th diff condo I’m visited. Only issue we had was some of the locals that was residing there when we were at the pool one evening. I over heard them talking about everyone in pool (my family and another family) a certain way, saying out of towners come here and try to take over and feel entitled. Knowone was being loud disrespectful anything. Just normal kids playing in a pool. We were enjoying our vacation. They were older ladies, and I was 2 chairs from them so they knew I heard them. And at that point we just got up and left. That was only down point of our vacation that wasn’t enjoyable. And it wasn’t the resorts fault. Overall I will go back to el matador, best bed I’ve ever slept in. Room clean , anything almost you need for beach in outside room on balcony, that was a first for me when staying in condo so far. Hope you enjoy!
