“Bathroom had a good shower Worse thing about this hotel was the let down on the key card wouldn’t open door every time we went out If had been by myself I would have been very very worried we tried everything one lady from reception brought up a machine to try it BUT next morning back to square one. I was disappointed as it was for me to try this hotel for me to come by myself when I come back to Barnsley to visit my family”

“Restaurant was in a pleasant room. Food in the evening was well cooked. Breakfast was very average.
A few lights didn't work in the bedroom.
Restaurant and bar staff were pleasant and helpful.”

“Very dated and run down hotel, rooms needing an urgent refurbishment. There is a pub with a function room that are part of the hotel, where loud music continues playing until quite late.
Location is ok, breakfast had the very basic and while some hot options were ok, others were very underwhelming.
Overall, there’s way better options at similar night rates. Wouldn’t recommend.”

“We were visiting the Holmfirth Vineyard and were able to access the parking at 10:00 even though check-in wasn't until 15:00.
Staff were helpful and very friendly. The breakfast was excellent.”
