“Great stay”

“The staff were very friendly and helpful and I would stay at The Crown again without hesitation, however as I am disabled there are not enough parking spaces available for disabled guests staying at the hotel. The bays at the front of the hotel (3) were, at most times occupied by non blue badge holders.”

“There were some lovely touches about the general accommodation such as pretty chandeliers, nice artwork and grand mirrors. We were in room 6 which was advertised as lacking natural light, this was fine, but the decor was so dark and such a dull lightbulb, it made the room feel so dingy. There was no plug point near the mirror, so doing hair was difficult. On the plus side the bed was very comfortable and there was a lovely big fan in the room to help combat the heat. “Great place to visit. Will be back. Thanks to Loulou and her team !”

“Don’t use this accommodation! As we arrived at 6 pm the place was closed! Nobody took the phone and we had to look for another place to stay. Not good!”

“Room was very clean and staff were very helpful and understanding, I will definitely return if I ever get to be back to Hastings”

“Lovely old inn with well appointed clean rooms. Had evening meal which was excellent. Breakfast was also well cooked and delicious. It had a lovely ambience.”

“The room and reception/ common areas were all very clean. I had a single room on the top floor and it was a good size for one person with plenty of cubboard space for clothes storage. The staff were all friendly. I was always able to get parking right outside the property. The B&B is a very short walk from the beach and about 1/2 mile to the pier. I was very happy with my stay here.”
