The room was reasonable. The building is old, but well maintained. The TV didnt work properly, but the front desk person fixed it and showed me what to do if the sound went away again.it did, but it was an easy fix.

This is an older motel but still OK. We walked to dinner at Bud Jackson's and breakfast at Smokehouse, both were terrific. Location is convenient.

Good for what we needed

It was very adequate for one night stay. It was clean. The bed was comfortable. The shower was good. There was a microwave in the refrigerator. We will stay there again on our travels through Oregon. The price was very fair.

The pictures and the reality are quite different. To start, the couch in the lobby is shabby with torn upholstery, the concrete of the walkway along the front of the building that led to my room the badly cracking with missing chunks making it hard for my 65 year old, less able self, to roll my suitcase. The bath tub had big chips in the porcelain, and the carpet badly stained. Traffic nose was also a problem. I will say that the man at the desk was very nice, the linens were clean, and the bed wasn’t uncomfortable.

Decent room, reasonable price. Older hotel, staff was efficient and polite. Area is a little sketchy, not a great selection of dining options.

Older facility but well kept. We had the handicapped room. The floor slopes so bad toward the bathroom that if I didn’t keep my feet solidly on the floor, I rolled into the bathroom. Also, it would be nice to have a higher toilet (ADA) with some type of grab bar nearby. A bit sketchy for anyone with disabilities, as is.

Why would anyone stay way over on I-84 when you've got this standout place? Staff are friendly, flexible, and helpful. Breakfast and dinner are at less than 200 yards--really good places, too. Central La Grande is a matter of mere blocks. I stayed 6 full nights at a very fair price.

The King size bed was comfortable. it was better than some in some other hotels we have stayed in La Grande. There is NO breakfast as stated by the app. The lady at the front desk said they have never had breakfast . There is a good breakfast restaurant across the street.
