Hotel was well maintained for an older hotel. There was an easily accessible outdoor area for my small dog. The bed was comfortable. I was able to have something healthy for breakfast( hard boiled eggs and a banana ). I think the hotel was good value for the price and would stay again.

The Rugged Country Inn was a very comfortable place to stay and great value for the low price. The owners were super friendly, the room and bed were comfortable and it was very quiet. A great place to stay while travelling through.

The place was great. I was looking for a quieter place away from downtown and this place fit the bill perfectly. When I got there I asked for a second floor room and they were able to accommodate me. The rooms had that historic feel and were well maintained- I thought the atmosphere was super nice. Also, for dog owners like myself, the east end of the river trail is only about a half mile away which I would highly recommend walking (even without a dog). I really enjoyed my stay. Kudos to the owner and staff.

It is an older motel, reasonable rates, very clean and friendly clerk checking us in. We were there in June and it was hot but air conditioning worked well. The only drawback for us was that we needed 2 beds and they were upstairs. I don't do stairs well but that was not their fault and we did fine.

They were accommodating to us checking in an hour early. The room was clean and neat, had blackout curtains and an AC. Being an old building the floors are squeaky, our travel eat plugs were very helpful! There was no place to refill water bottles other than tap water. When we tried to buy water from the vending matching it was empty. Over all we had a good experience.
