Our favorite hotel in Costa Rica! We stayed at four hotels and this was hands down the best. The bungalows are surrounded by nature; it is amazing to wake up to the sounds of the rainforest. Everything was spotless and the bed was super comfortable. The balcony jacuzzi was already warm when we arrived; relaxing in the water among the plants felt incredible. Since it is family-run, the service is very personal. Doña Amalia cooks breakfast fresh on the spot: delicious traditional gallo pinto, eggs to order, ham, toast, and coffee. To top it off, a toucan visited the exact same tree every single afternoon. If we return to Costa Rica, we would definitely stay here again.

We loved our stay at this property. It was beautiful and well maintained. The family that owned the property were really friendly and cooked a full breakfast for us each morning. We loved how quiet the property was, the jacuzzi, and all the wildlife around our bungalow. The only somewhat concerning thing for me was the full glass wall in the bathroom, but I was able to work around it and find ways to have some privacy.

We loved our stay at Bungalows Las Iguanas. The bungalows was really clean and well furnished with tv, wifi and plenty of towels. The pool and jaccuszzi were great. The owners were really nice and made sure everything was to our liking. They even showed us a sloth was was passing by for a couple of days. The breakfast was great and made fresh to order. We will definitely stay there again if we go back to this area

A Must Stay!

This is an amazing place to stay, from the very start you are greeted and shown around the property. The rooms are beautiful and the nature surrounding them can’t be beat. The owners are so great and breakfast was amazing every day. They gave us recommendations to awesome spots, going as far as setting up last minute tours for us. I would highly recommend Las Iguanas to anyone!

Very enjoyable stay

Very nice, quiet accommodation only 20mins away from La Fortuna. Kids really enjoyed the spa on balcony. Kind staff and decent breakfast. Will rebook whenever we are back in that area without a doubt. One of the highlights of the trip.

Beautiful and tranquil

Our visit was amazing and we thoroughly enjoyed the tranquility of the jungle. The service was impeccable and the iguanas did not disappoint. Jose is very attentive and his madre will fix you and impeccable breakfast while teaching you new words in Español too.

Comfortable cabina

Jose was extremely helpful and even pointed out some Toucans in the trees near the cabina. It was very clean. Had a nice small kitchette that we used to make some meals and of course the jacuzzi was a great way to end the day.
