“Quirky stay in Tunbridge Wells. The theme is fun and throughout the restaurant and hotel- decorations, staff uniforms, music and menu options. Lots of parking right outside. Food was lovely. The breakfast had unlimited coffee and juices and lots of options. The only downside was we went in the heatwave and the only thing available was a small desk fan so the heat was unbearable in the room so we slept really badly, could do with additional larger fans in the rooms”

“Th Leicester Inn is a very old listed property and as such has some wonderful aspects giving it great character. Being old and listed also means that modern features like double glazing and air conditioning are not present and we stayed on one of the hottest days of the year. Our room was very hot but a fan was provided and we were able to have an open window. There is a good size car park at the rear of the Inn. Food and service were superb.”

“Highly recommended, especially if you're using it as a central base to explore the High Weald hiking trails and local National Trust properties. The bedrooms are really a story of two parts here. The old wing feels quite dated with older, functional furniture, lacks air conditioning, and tends to get quite hot. The new wing is the exact opposite, much more modern and nicely cooled. Both areas are kept spotless! Just a heads-up if you need a firm bed: the mattresses are extremely soft and tend...
