We had a wonderful stay at the Hamilton Princess. The staff go out their way to meet your every need. The room was very nice and the bed was very comfortable. We loved the Infinity pool and hot tub. We had an incredible dinner at Intrepid. Downtown Hamilton is an easy walk from the hotel. This is where we will stay when we are back in Bermuda.

The suggestion I would have is to flip the adult pool and the main pool. Too many kids running around screaming. We had two rooms with a very nice sitting areas out side the sliding door however the constant screaming and yelling of kids made them virtually useless. The amenities at the current main pool are tailored more towards adults. Rooms 50 & 56. That would be my main critique. The restaurants served excellent food! Thanks for asking.

The Hamilton Princess is a lovely property. It gets high points for location if you want to be near lots of restaurants and the ferry terminal. Access to the rest of the island is easy. I appreciated the adult heated pool as there were lots of kids at the other pool. We were in one of the beautifully renovated rooms in the Bermudiana Wing. However, I guess I wasn't clear on the difference between a "Bay" view and "harbour" view. We were on the Bay, which is a small channel running beside the hotel rather than an expansive harbour view. It was still lovely and quiet on that side (the other side faces the pool).

Everything about this hotel is fantastic. The staff in the gold lounge, Rolley,Pascoal, Vitoria and Alysha go above and beyond to make your stay pleasant..all parts of the hotel in and out are kept in tiptop condition. The location is perfect only a 5 minute walk into Hamilton and the view of the bay is gorgeous.

This was a fabulous family vacation. I highly highly suggest upgrading to the Fairmont Gold Access to the gold lounge is definitely worth it. The rooms were impeccable and the infinity pool and resort in general was fabulous. Hospitality, focus on the customer are top notch here. EVERYONE on staff we encountered were friendly, helpful and so kind to ensure the best of customer service! The restaurants on property are terrific. We ate at The Intrepid for our 50th anniversary dinner and the food, presentation and service were OUTSTANDING! The Crown & Anchor Sunday Dinner was terrific and the Duchess cafe was a daily stop for us. Yum! The property is well maintained, both landscaping and cleanliness and just beautiful to walk around to enjoy outdoor seating, the ocean views and fire pits! The infinity pool is the best one we’ve ever experienced traveling and the towels are first class! Absolutely guests should take advantage of the private beach club for the absolutely gorgeous ocean, beach amenities and delicious food that’s offered! The only surprise I had was the final receipt we received during our flight back. It had an additional $120. gratuity added to our bill that wasn’t on our first receipt we received before checkout! We tipped generously to the bellman, EVERY time we asked for them to whistle us a cab, extra was always added to the restaurant’s fixed rate for service, cash tipping the jitney drivers as well as to the housecleaning staff in cash. This $120. being added to our total after we checked out this morning was surprising. We understood the daily facility rate etc., but would’ve appreciated transparency of this additional gratuity told to us at checkout.
