Clean and affordable. Very friendly staff. Walking distance from everything. We were in town for a music festival. If they do it again next year we'll stay at Hillside again for sure.

The hôtel was well maintained and the room was clean and tidy. The proprietor was at the front desk when I came and he was very helpful and kind. I would strongly recommend Hillside Inn, in my many travels this place was well above average at an affordable price. Keep up the good work.

Motel was convenient with parking in front of our room. Had well maintained outside seating area with pretty flowers and sun shade. Room was okay but could use a good coat of paint and deep clean (there was gum stuck on one of the headboards). It was decent for price we paid and I would stay there again.

The room was clean though small. The pillows we're comfy, but the bed was hard. The microwave, mini fridge and air conditioner worked well. The water pressure was good in the shower. The older gentleman working was friendly. Parking is free but tight. Many pretty flowers on the property.

We had a pleasant stay at this motel. It was clean, quiet, and well maintained. The bed was very comfortable, which made for a good night's sleep. Pembroke was an interesting town to explore, with its colorful murals and a lovely riverside park.

The AC was a perfect - we could set the temperature we wanted and it continued to keep it at that temperature. We also were happy that we could walk to a nice restaurant. Also we really liked being able to sit outside our last motel did not have that.

Considering the low price paid, it was totally acceptable. The room was reasonably clean and the bed comfortable, but overall it was a bit ragged around the edges and the room had an odd smell, probably an attempt to mask the stink of tobacco. Fine for one night and very inexpensive, but I recommend aiming higher if your budget can afford it.
