“Everything was absolutely perfect! Village location that’s not too difficult to get to via car. Private car park directly across the street from the hotel. Bus stop right down the road in Crumplehorn. Full breakfast included in the rate. Spotless, comfy rooms with daily housekeeping. Teas and coffees, etc. in the room and refreshed daily with housekeeping. Highly recommend this hotel!”

“An excellent two night stay at a location we hadn't visited for some years. Our dog-friendly room was really clean . Evening meals were good. Breakfast was not included though we think it is provided at other times of the year. There was however a very good cafe and shop next door that served breakfast, coffee and snacks. We will be back to both establishments in the next few months”

“On the whole ok. There was hair left on bathroom floor & taps, hairdryer was cold. Bed clean. Easy to park, tea & coffee provided. Narrow corridors which made it harder with luggage.”

“The Royal Oak is a great old inn, with a well-stocked bar and excellent food. Terrific ambiance, inside and out, including outdoor dining options, The hosts were helpful and charming, going out of their way to make us feel welcome and helping me fix a scheduling hiccup too. And there are two friendly pub cats! Super convenient location in the center of picturesque Lostwithiel, not far from the train station, though you do have a bit of a hill to climb.
