Great hotel and staff

Great hotel and awesome staff. You truly feel welcomed. Top notch pool areas (Infinity pool), cabanas, lounge chairs etc. A lot of restaurants and golf cart to take you to gym and tennis. Little minus for town access, you have to go thru beach. Also Pattaya City is always a ride away. Great for chilling out and enjoying relaxed atmosphere but not very vibrant hotel and location.

Excellent hotel outside Pattaya center

This is an old luxury hotel who is maintained excellent. The room was big and comfortable, 5 restaurants with different menus like seafood, japanese, international mm. We enjoyed a week stay without urge to leave the area even once. The staff was impeccable, they urged to help without feeling intrusive at all. They have several pools and a private beach to your choice.

Great view and clean room and facility. The room service food was so good I didn’t need to go out some days. Staffs were nice and very accommodating. The noise was a bit loud outside but it was during the festival season so I understand. Overall a great experience, would come back again.

Beautiful ocean view

The ocean view is beautiful! The beach is quite relaxing. Very good place for vacation. If the hotel can upgrade the hotel rooms, that would be great. Find the washroom plastic curtain is too old.

Nice seaview and awsome oceanside swimming pool

Very good value deal for a seaview mini suite. But dear Royal Cliff dont be so stingy on the welcome drink. That mixture from the chemical lab u gave us as only available choice was not drinkable. Better not offer anything instead. The poolside service could improve too.

Its a ‘beach hotel’ without a beach. Really disappointed to find a concrete terrace with no sand swimming beach. Described the mini suite as sleeping four, but was only given two single beds. Not great for a family situation. All ‘amenities’ are not free, but incur a surcharge. Expensive breakfast buffet. Not really a good deal for a weekend away from Bangkok.

Fantastic property. Lots of dining options and pools to choose from. Breakfast Buffet served up until 10.30am which was convenient. Only thing to note is that the pool at the Royal Cliff is only for their guests. This was not explained to us nor is it clearly advertised. There is a day spa and also a beautician / hairdresser called Beautique which is handy. Service by staff was helpful and friendly. However over the busy period of Christmas and new years I think it was under resourced so there was a wait for some services. The pool reservation sign is being ignored by guests so people are leaving towels and items on seats to reserve and other guests missing out. The pool towels ran out because guests were taking more than their assigned 2 towels per room per day. The cafe downstairs in the lobby was understaffed - coffee to go orders took forever, consider over busy periods having more staff.

This is a great spot on the hills above Pattaya Beach. Loved the pool and the nearby beach and restaurants.
