Fantastic hotel

Loved the hotel location, very nice staff and a great breakfast. I felt the staff went out of their way to make sure I was happy and comfortable. The outdoor patio has an incredible view of the river and people walking below. I highly recommend!

A wonderful location at the confluence of the Inn and Danube rivers. The staff were helpful and pleasant. Breakfast outside (option) was a lovely way to start your day. We absolutely loved our stay at Schloss Ort hotel! From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed and comfortable. The hotel has a warm, family-friendly atmosphere that made us feel right at home. The location is truly breathtaking — waking up to a breakfast on the deck with the Donau River in the background was a highlight of our trip. The view was stunning and made our mornings so special. We had an unforgettable stay at Hotel Schloss Ort in Passau. The history of this property, dating back to the 13th century, combined with the comfort and charm of its accommodations, made it truly special. The owner and staff were exceptionally attentive and accommodating, making us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. The location is absolutely perfect—nestled right along the beautiful Inn River, offering peaceful and tranquil views. It was wonderful to simply sit and take in the scenery. On top of that, restaurants and shopping were just a short walk away, making it very convenient to explore Passau. This hotel is a gem, blending history, hospitality, and location seamlessly. We would highly recommend Hotel Schloss Ort to anyone visiting Passau.

Beautiful stay

We had a wonderful stay at Schloss Ort. Eva in reception was gracious and clear. We were truly stunned at the view of the river from our room and the room was beautifully and simply decorated ! The next day we had the opportunity to Meet our host owner and she was Mickey. There was a delicious breakfast avskdbke in the morning. Again, with a gorgeous view of the river . We were staying g the night before a Viking cruise, and could not have been more nicely situated

The schloss ort is in one of the best locations to visit Passau historic old town. There was beautiful views of the river from our room and the breakfast and terrace areas. This made our stay v relaxing. The boutique hotel is lovely and bedrooms very comfortable with great bed . The breakfast was lovely even if a little expensive. The slight negatives were that no one welcomed us when we arrived at 7.30pm and a letter and key were left on reception desk but we did realise that the reception isn’t manned all the time. We had v little coffee and teas sachets and no milk in the room on arrival. The shower room was v small but shower worked really well . The toilet was long a corridor which is not most convenient but we realise that this is a historic property layout. Overall we had. Very lovely 2 nights nd would definitely recommend.

Location is quite convenient. Walkable all over the town. Staff very helpful and friendly. We arrived early and they let us in the room way before their check in time. That’s very nice! We were told we need to pay for the breakfast only at check out time. Their website advertises breakfast is included. I would prefer they inform me during check in time.

What a charming hotel with great views! The location was amazing, right at the bottom tip of Passau, exactly where the three rivers meet. We had a spectacular view of the Inn River from our room and also from the breakfast area. The room was also quite large and very comfortable. The location was right in the walking district, and the staff were all so helpful and friendly. We will definitely stay here again!
