We couldn’t get in. The box with the key was broken. Only after an hour the box would open. Personal from Wien changed the room for us so we could get a key from the other key box. It would be a good idea to have a spare key somewhere.

Small but clean room. Self-Checkin works nicely. Getting an invoice for my refund by my employer was a bit of a hassle: phone number on Expedia website never worked, googled number, talked to very friendly person, sent an email with company details, was referred back to Expedia which referred me back to the hotel and finally received my invoice document…

First of all, the most inconvenient thing was that there was no reception. The hotel left a contact number, but I did not answer the phone and did not even call back. I stayed for 6 days, but there was no hot water for 2 days, and the plumbing was so old that rust was coming out. I have visited this area many times for business, but this was the worst, and if I visit this area again next time, I will definitely choose this place as my last choice when other hotels are unavailable.
I booked a double room where I could work on my laptop, but it was not reflected.
If you look at the water, you will see black rust.
I use a travel shower head with a filter and at first it was pure white and then it changed to this.

Self check in went horribly wrong. Property did not email the security code to enter the building. Called the “emergency” contact number, no answer! Waited outside the building until a helpful young man staying at the property alerted the housekeeping of our problem. Maria came down, verified we were legitimate and let us in. Took awhile to get access code and key to room, but Maria was very professional and resolved the matter. Maria gets the 5 stars!

Die Unterkunft liegt mitten im Stadtzentrum, fußläufig von Bahnhof, Uni und Altstadt. Ruhig und sauber. Als "Hotel" kann man das Haus nicht (mehr) wirklich bezeichnen, denn es ist inzwischen eine Unterkunft ohne (sichtbares) Personal. Zimmerschlüssel gibt es aus der Tresorbox, was einwandfrei klappt, aber der frühere Geist des Hauses leidet darunter: Frühstück gibt es nicht mehr, die früheren Parkplätze im Innenhof auch nicht mehr. Zum Frühstücken kann man sich im "Mutterhaus", dem Residenz-Hotel, anmelden für € 17,50 p.P. oder sich ein Plätzchen in einem der Cafés/Kneipen in der Umgebung suchen. Parken ist in der gesamten Umgebung kostenpflichtig (außer sonntags), somit heißt die Lösung an Werktagen "Parkhaus".
