“Our preferred accommodation when visiting Bright. Clean, everything works, quiet, easy self check in done through SMS. We choose one of the spa rooms, a little pricier but the rooms have a north facing patio, are bigger and at the quiet rear of the property. Property is a 2 minute drive to town or 20 mins walk. “Enjoyed collecting and roasting chestnuts picked from the grounds. Quiet. Lovely deciduous trees which are mature size. Good quality fittings and soaps and lotions which adds to the experience. Drove to the surrounding mountains and nut groves. Autumn is a great time to enjoy Bright. ”

“A very comfortable twin share room with two beds including one queen sized bed. Couldn’t fault the room, the greeting at reception, however during the depths of Winter, arriving at 6.30pm, having the front window shut and perhaps some low setting of heating would have been more inviting on arrival. Even after more than an hour with the heater then put on, the room had only partially warmed up. Even then sleeping at night time was best with the electric blanket on a low setting. “Perfect stay for budget trip to skiing at Falls Creek or Mt Hotham. Have personally stayed here several times over more than 10 years and never been disappointed. The decor may not be to everyone’s liking, however the comfort, quietness and cleanliness cannot be faulted.”
