Vacations Close To Mitchelville Freedom Park

The Alida is a beautiful hotel in a great location! However, the extra fees and hidden charges really make this an extremely overpriced place to stay! $24 glass of wine and $5 small soda is somewhat offset by the "voucher" they give you but with all the other fees, I'm not sure I would do it again. I would expect a lot more for that.

This past weekend we stayed at The Godley Manor for the first time and we are so glad we did. From the moment we walked through the front door we knew we were in a very special place. Beth warmly greeted us and toured us around. Every piece of furniture and artwork was perfect and we could tell that Beth and her family take great pride in The Godley Manor. Our room was terrifically spacious, very clean and every amenity provided. The towels are SO SOFT and luxurious. Miss Pam oversees breakfast which is plentiful and delicious. We enjoyed sitting at the long dining table and chatting with the other guests. Lastly, the location is perfect for walking to the river (20 min) and all around the historic district. The Godley Manor is our new favorite place to stay in Savannah and we will return. Thank you Beth, Pam and family for a fantastic stay.

Cutest little walk to the back of the property! Our little house was so beautiful! Loved every minute. The manager responded so fast to all questions before and during our weekend. Would love to stay again!

Amazing breakfast, beautiful comfortable room and the most perfect location!

Lovely time. Slept great! Food was delicious. Loved the chai bowl. Mateo was a fun bartender. The only thing I could say is that the elevators could be cleaned better and daily wiping of elevator buttons on the each floor would be nice too. Overall its an 8.5 out of 10!!

Desk staff was great but the ice machine on our floor was flooded and the AC did not work.

Everyone was so kind and friendly! “Grumpy” the staff member who checked us in was charming, funny and friendly! He walked us to our room and insisted on carrying my bag. Our room was lovely! We had our own parking spot (for a small fee) and even a balcony with a cafe table. We went to the bar twice. Loved that they gave us free drink vouchers at check-in. The sitting room adjacent to our room was also fun to have a drink in before we ventured out for dinner! The location was very walkable and convenient to local restaurants, sites and bars. We will definitely be back!
