Very good hotel. Loved the hot tub in my room. Breakfast was pretty good for hotel breakfast

Stephanie’s home was spectacular!I recommend getting there within the check in time because her historical tour & info is phenomenal! We unfortunately were late and she still accommodated & treated us so well. The rooms are amazing. Her cooking breakfast was so yummy! Penny the scruffy little dog is so cute. I wish we had more time but we’re on a mission to get to Crosby, MN for mtb. It would be nice to enjoy the screen porch in the evening. We hope to visit & stay again soon. Hot tub worked. Pool was nice. Shower pressure excellent.

The only diabetes friendly food was cold hard boiled eggs otherwise all carb and sugar items. If you have Celiac disease you could have the sweet sugar yogurt fruit ( bananas) or the eggs

This is a hipster boutique hotel. They have done a really nice job with the outside, transforming an old motor lodge into an esthetically pleasing place. It’s a fun place to stay. The rooms are 50´s mod meets dorm room chic. They scrimped on the room details in this boutique lodge…. The white walls are bare and show any imperfections and looks a bit sterile. The wood trim, esp in the bathrooms, looks like the cabinets fell off and they went to the local lumber yard for a piece of wood to cover it. A nice high shine glaze would make quite a difference. I especially didn’t like the dirty bathroom tile floors. As much as was spent on the outside…. You cheaped out on the rooms. Some attention to a better detail would totally turn this place into something memorable
