Vacations Close To Disney's Blizzard Beach Water Park

We had a lovely stay at The Kenwood Inn. Pat is a wonderful host, Chef Adam created delicious breakfasts for us and catered to our vegetarian diet, and breakfast was served by Barbara, who is so very sweet. Our room was beautiful, and the bed was like sleeping on a fluffy cloud. We had access to bikes, a pool, a balcony with a lovely view and were within a short walking distance to many restaurants, the bay, shops, and galleries. We will definitely be back!

The pictures make this place look much nicer than it actually is. There was a broken-down car in the parking lot that looked like it had been stolen and stripped. When I asked about it, I was told it belonged to the owner. I found it bizarre that the owner would leave such an eyesore right in front of the hotel. It gave the property the appearance of the kind of place people rent by the hour. I definitely wouldn’t stay here again. The “free” breakfast was a joke, and overall the hotel was a huge disappointment. I guess that’s what you get for around $100 a night, but honestly, I think I would have had a better experience at a Motel 6.

The properties had pretty nice remodeling was shocked to be at a motel and have to pay for parking things like this need to be included in the price quoted not surprise add-ons. They were nice for hotels at competitive rates when you're added in this cost.

We are so glad we chose this hotel for our getaway. The location is perfect and the area felt safe. The staff was friendly and helpful and keep the hotel and surroundings clean. The room was spacious, clean and updated. The price was surprisingly affordable for such a great place. I prefer this to many of the hotel chains we’ve stayed in. The salt water pool was a great way to end the day. I love that they had coffee available all day/night. There were extras we didn’t need but were there (laundry room and rec room). The location was perfect. Far enough from the business of the historic area but only 5 minutes to get there. We look forward to staying there again when we take a quick trip down from Georgia.
