We had a poor experience staying here. We paid a premium to have a room with a private outdoor hot tub, but instead got a “cold plunge.” We contacted the staff to address the issue. The manager came & adjusted the settings but that didn’t fix the issue. We also got locked out of the main entrance that night because the keypad lock was broken. The phone number to call did not work. We had to bang on the front door until one of the other guests heard us and came to let us in. I messaged the host, and got no response. They did send a tech the next morning to fix the main entrance keypad and attempt to fix our hot tub. Hot tub never got fixed. We understand sometimes there are technical difficulties, but received no type of communication from the host. We messaged asking if we can switch rooms, no response, no empathy or accountability. We requested for a fair reimbursement for the premium priced room paid. To our not so surprise, no response (yet). Be aware when choosing this place, they do not have staff on site after 5pm, the phone number on the front door doesn’t work, your private hot tub probably wont work, and host doesn’t respond to messages, so if you get locked out in the middle of the night or have any issues, you are SOL. The only positive thing i have to say about this place is it’s in a great location with many shops and restaurants within walking distance. The ferry terminal is a short 12-15 min walk. Would not stay here again.
