We recently completed a 7-night stay at the Tim Hotel. Overall, all the staff we encountered were very nice and friendly, which we truly appreciated. However, the stay unfortunately fell short of expectations due to a lack of attention to detail and ongoing technical issues.
Upon checking in on day one, we submitted a written list of four basic requests to the front desk. While they successfully provided the extra towels and toilet paper, they failed to provide the requested extra pillows. Furthermore, housekeeping had mixed up the wall-locked amenity bottles—placing the lotion in the shower and the hair conditioner by the sink. Because these bottles are locked to the wall, we couldn't swap them ourselves. We explicitly asked the staff to correct this, but it was never fixed for the duration of our stay.
To make matters worse, our room key cards failed on at least four separate nights. Having to repeatedly walk back down to the front desk after a long day just to get our keys re-magnetized was a major inconvenience. While the team's friendly attitude was a plus, the service execution and functional amenities definitely need improvement.
