We especially liked the comfy bed, the clean sheets and towels, as well as the powerful heating system. We also found the adjustable heating towel rack in the bathroom very efficient and useful.

The room was a nice size for my wife and I. There was a table in the kitchen area, a bath tub to soak in in the washroom, and an outdoor sitting area. While close to transportation and sightseeing areas, the room was extraordinarily quiet. We loved it!

Check in was easy. We even got an early check in. Pierre was very helpful and available. The room was clean, spacious, and confortable with many amenities. We are very particular aboutbathrooms and this one was very hygienic. Area was safe, close to at least 2 metro stations, many restaurants, 2 laundramats and a lovely farmers market on Saturdays. Within walking distance to the Arc de Triomphe and Champs Elysees. We strongly recommend.

The essentials were there: comfortable bed, sufficiently stocked kitchen, a good-sized room. The washroom could have been a bit cleaner, and there was a cabinet door with one hinge broken that gave the room a run-down feel. Also, the table only had two chairs but we were able to bring one in from the balcony. Overall decent value for money but could have been better.

Uncaring and unprofessional .

We were unable to take our 25th anniversary trip due to the sudden death of our 34 year old niece. The hotel initially said they wouldn’t do anything without a death certificate. One was provided several times and they have ignored us and refused to assist. No compassion. No refund. No credit to attend in the future.

The Residhotel is recognized as good for long stays, and that certainly matched my experience. The room includes a small kitchen area that allows someone to have snacks or meals at the hotel. The hotel is well located. You have a short walk to one Metro station, and a slightly longer walk to other Metro stations and RER. And if you want the shuttle to Beauvais (for Ryanair) that station is a 20 min. walk. Also, you have two laundries nearby, and a variety of small to large grocery stores. There are plenty of options nearby for eating, coffee, drinks. The Arc de Triomphe is an easy walk from the hotel, and the hotel location allows you to go to most of the important sites within a half hour (on foot and by Metro). The facility itself is clean. I was very comfortable there. The staff there were very helpful to me, with the front desk people making it their job to work out any issues I had. I'd have to agree with one of the other reviews that the facility is showing its age. There were no real problems as far as I was concerned, but some updates to furniture and appliances would make the rooms might be in order.

Five stars is really not enough for this exceptional property. For less than the price of a hotel room, we got an apartment that was twice the size, with a nice balcony that we ate breakfast on every morning. Carrefour is less than a 5-minute walk, as is a wonderful bakery. We were greeted and shown to our room personally by a wonderful lady, and all of the other staff we met were just as nice, and they all spoke great English--a necessity for this non-bilingual American! The room has a hot water pot and a Nespresso machine as well as a full kitchen. When I told them the frying pan was not in good shape, it was immediately replaced with a new one. This will become my permanent vacation home in Paris. It is walking distance to Parc Monceau, the Arc de Triumph, and the Champs-ÉlysĂ©es, and there are some good restaurants in the area. Visiting other parts of Paris will require a tube or Uber ride, but knowing you will be returning to such a nice accommodation after a busy day of sightseeing makes not being right in the middle of everything no problem at all. Again, I can't say enough good things about the staff here. And the bed was comfortable too.
