Nice welcome at check-in, quick as pre-paid so nothing to do except give ID. Location ideal, especially for using the viaduct to walk between areas, especially to Bastille. Evening staff a little more less helpful, but maybe that was the difficulty between languages, staff member was a little abrupt. Plenty of hot water. Negative part was the wet room/bathroom. Nice design, unfortunately the shower door did not stop any of the water getting out onto the bathroom floor. Which means the room floods unless you use the bath mat pulled right up to the outside of the door to stop water flowing. I guess the floor area in the cubicle could do with being slightly angled to stop this, or a better fitting door. However, we realized that this is what causes the smell in the hotel room. The water runs under the bathroom vanity so not getting dry so remains damp/musty. It would also be useful to have a mirror above the desk area for hair/make-up as not enough space in bathroom as sink in alcove and only one person can get to the mirror.
