I had a generally good stay at Le Patio Bastille. The room was comfortable, and the price was quite fair for the location. The staff were polite, and the hotel is conveniently located for exploring Paris. However, as a Platinum member, I was promised a bottle of wine in my room as a perk, but it was nowhere to be found. This was disappointing.

I loved that my room included a little kitchenette, I kept simple breakfast things in the fridge and was able to make tea and coffee and have proper plates and utensils for my snacks while working in my room in the evenings. We arrived 45 minutes before check in started. They were happy to store our bags until then. Check in was easy and quick. The property from outside and the lobby looked really good. We asked about the Expedia gold benefit of a free bottle of wine and they informed us it was already in the room. We also got our room upgraded without asking which was excellent. We had a kitchen with fridge and microwave. Room was big, tidy and cozy. Staff was great. We stored our bags till 5pm. Check out is perfectly at midday. Area outside property looks a bit shady but nobody bothered us. Also, really good location within 10 mins walk of 2 subway stations. Would go back! Highly recommend.

The staff were excellent and that was why I rated the stay as good. Without good staff, the property was rather ordinary, at best, with a so-so breakfast. Location was very good for us, lots of very good restaurants around and felt safe.
