Helpful staff. Great location. Near lines 4 and 6. Near Catticombs. Smokers at entrance. Critters come out of the bathroom if you have food/crumbs, etc. Some stained linen.

The room was unbearably hot and noisy throughout the entire stay, and housekeeping was virtually non-existent — the sheets, which were already worn and stained upon arrival, were never changed once during the whole week. The street is vibrant and beautiful with patios and small shops.

After reading the reviews on google I’ll admit I was scared.. but for the price it was honestly fine. The hotel is old, but our room was clean, we got clean towels and daily cleaning, and we didn’t see any bedbugs or cockroaches. So honestly not terrible, and the location is good too if you don’t mind being a bit further from the main attractions.

I've seen lots worse

It is a two star hotel. I am older and climbing 60 stairs was a bit rough. Great shower. Comfortable. Only French language TV. Great food really close by and "reasonable" walking distance to subway.

Overall, our stay was comfortable, and most of the staff were very helpful and friendly. Unfortunately, the check-in attendant was quite grumpy, which was not the best first impression. The room itself was very clean, which we appreciated. However, the walls are extremely thin — we could hear everything, and a guest in the next room even banged on the wall when we had the TV on. We also had trouble controlling the room temperature, which made it difficult to stay comfortable. The double room was extremely small and quite tight. Luckily, we are not large people, but it would be a real challenge for anyone needing more space. Overall, a decent stay with good cleanliness and helpful staff, but the noise, room size, and temperature control could definitely be improved.

No security - front desk could not understand, but they had a list of check-in’s and I pointed to my name. No ID was asked making me think anyone could just walk in. Advised of tax, & would not accept card under any circumstances. Made me go to local cash point (what else could I do), and no receipt was given. I find this very odd that they could not accept card or give a receipt. Leaving the building, you have to find the key to the desk, you’re not allowed to take it with you! No TV remote but I only needed the room for shower and bed. Local area looks nice. Plenty of shops and restaurants, cafes. Not too far from metro to take you city centre Very unlikely I’ll stay again, bad reception killed it for me

The rooms are dirty. Carpet and bed sheets have stains. There are bed bugs and roaches that we saw while sleeping for 6 hours. Fortunately Expedia was able to relocate us. If you are reading this please be aware of false advertising. The rooms in the picture is not at all similar to what they gave us.

Great location close to the metro. But they only accepted cash payment for the city taxes even though the listing says they accept cards. They also use the system where you return your room key to the desk while you are outside of the hotel but they seem to take only hand written notes and for example, never asked for an ID, and it does not feel very secure. This would have been okay if it was clear up front what was happening, but it was very unexpected and only explained in french.

Great stay! Hotel was in convenient location easy to access, very cute and safe streets even at night, doors to the hotel lock at 1am, so you’ll have to knock to get in past that time, sound proof rooms, clean sheets and towels, hairdryer is great. things to note: no AC, floors and shower could be cleaner, a few bugs on the floor.
