Location was great for restaurants and metro. The standard room is very small, but the upgraded room was a good size for two. All the staff was pleasant and helpful. The breakfast buffet was very good except for one thing… the scrambled eggs are terrible…not sure if they use powdered eggs.

My partner and I stayed at Hotel Louison during a 24 hour layover in Paris - it was wonderful! The hotel itself is charming and has a beautiful little courtyard seating area, the rooms are thoughtfully designed (smaller, but it doesn't feel that way). Everything was clean and pleasant. Good price and location too!

Stayed in the 3-person room which worked for my husband daughter and I. The staff were very friendly and helpful and spoke English. We also enjoyed the reception each evening in the hotel with small appetizers and drinks. We met other people there and shared our experiences.

Pros: Hotel is very clean. Staff are exceptional. Housekeeping was outstanding. Felt safe. Nice neighborhood. Close to buses and metro. Cons: Rooms are very small. There was a sewer smell from the shower but we didn’t bring this to the staff. We literally just showered and slept so for that, it was everything we needed.

I never..... I repeat NEVER leave reviews for anything. But my stay in Paris was magical with them. Book this property! excellent location, 7 min walk to 2 main trains, le bon marche and la grande epicerie less than 5 mins away. Comfortable and cool room, excellent shower. My experience was 5 stars!!! I travelled alone and one time the front desk gentleman had my cappuccino ready by the door!!! Book this place and thank me later.

Disappointed

We booked the apartment attached to hotel as it accommodated myself, my husband and our teenage son. The location was very good, in a safe neighborhood. What was disappointing was the shower drain. We complained twice so that hopefully we wouldn’t be standing in dirty water. We were promised twice they would fix drain, but never did. For such an expensive hotel, and the fact that we could hear every upstairs footstep, I would not recommend staying here.
