Check in was very late and the attendant was very helpful. The area was beautiful clean and quaint. Only one thing that was pretty difficult, the hostel is within the building so it was very hard to find. You most go into “tipsy” bar to find the person to accommodate your stay.

The Most Unique Experience Ever.

Well, it was an experience all right. The place and location was very interesting and unique for being in the heart of Paris. Cleanliness of the room left much to be desired. The shower had no place to put soap, towel racks or hooks to hang towels. The sink was too small and basically useless. No electric plugs where needed. The bed was very uncomfortable. I will say the place was unique and eventhough, very hard to maneuver luggage up and down the stairs, it did give us a special look into inner city life. An experience for sure, but some simple improvements could make a world of difference. More plugs in the right places, a new mirror, towel racks, soap dish in the shower and a larger sink in the bathroom. Very unique and special indeed.

My experience at this property was very poor. In my opinion, it should not be classified as a hotel. It felt more like a short-term room rental than a hotel: there was no real reception, no visible staff, and no amenities. There was no one to receive guests until the bar next door opened, usually around 3:00 to 4:00 p.m., and that bar was described as the reception area. The check-in process was done through a machine that verified the reservation and dispensed a key. Regardless of the length of the stay, only two towels were provided. There was no housekeeping service and no linen service. The room was not clean and did not provide even the basic conveniences I would expect from a vacation rental, such as a minibar or a microwave. It was essentially just a bed and a television that did not work. The internet never worked during my stay. When traveling in a foreign country, stable internet is one of the most basic expectations. The most frustrating part was that there was no proper staff available to report the issue to. The people at the bar next door only said that the internet service was not very good. The room also smelled strongly of humidity. I booked this property because I was traveling with my mother and expected the basic comfort and support normally associated with a hotel stay. In addition, the lodging tax was charged upon arrival at the property. Given that this place did not provide the services or standards of a hotel, that charge felt unjustified.

Worst hotel ever,they 100% miss represented themselves,and I hope you remove them from Expedia so families do not book this hotel,,you couldn’t get into the hotel unless bar customers moved the tables so you could open the door,horrible experience!
