Great hotel in an excellent location. Close to Eiffel Tower, shopping and restaurants. The rooms were nice and well maintained. Washroom were stocked with many items like soaps, lotions, etc. Water was also replenished in the rooms for free. Only negative would be the front desk. A bit cold and not very welcoming or helpful.

I stayed here for a week with my 2 daughters in law and 12 year old grand-daughter. We all loved the hotel--lovely rooms, good A/C, delicious breakfast, quiet neighborhood walkable distance from many Paris attractions. My only complaint was the bathroom, which fogged up easily and had a slick shower floor. A grab bar and a fan would have been helpful for an oldish grandma like me!

The hotel De Suède Saint Germain was a very good experience. Close to all the monuments for far enough to be in a quiet neighbourhood with many things to do around. The staff was super friendly and helpful, hotel was super clean and comfortable. I will for sure book again when I go back to Paris.

Hotel de Suede was a true gem! We wanted a hotel that was not a chain or Americanized, but captured the French spirit and Hotel de Suede fit the bill perfectly. The room was nice, bed comfortable, powerful shower head, excellent breakfast and convenient location. The staff were attentive and personable and Jeff was especially helpful. We absolutely loved this hotel and highly recommend staying here!

The hotel is ideally located in a quiet area walking distance to most Left Bank attractions, tons of restaurants, multiple Metro stops and the Bon Marche. We had a courtyard room, it was not huge but plenty of space for us and our 8 year old. The hotel is simple, clean and quiet. They had good coffee in the room and an honor bar for a glass of wine at the end of the day. We would go back.

Really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. I travelled with my parents and we had separate rooms. I would advise no more than two to a room as they are decently snug. Bathrooms are quite nice even if the shower is a little small. The shower heads are awesome. The A/C here was great in my opinion. I run cold so someone who likes to sleep in a 60 degree room might say they would like it colder. One thing to keep in mind is that the walls are quite thin. We’re American so we just naturally talk louder but I’m sure everyone could hear us. I definitely could hear people who came in late or the walking around in the room above me. Didn’t bother me much but for those who are light sleepers it’s something to consider. I would definitely come back here. It’s in a quiet neighborhood not two far from two different metro lines. If you want a bunch of hustle and bustle I’d pick a different location. The restaurants just down the block and the little grocery shop was super convenient. Overall, great for my first visit to Paris.

Staff was attentive and friendly. Room was clean and comfortable. Duvet was too hot for us but cleaning staff provided us an extra sheet for our bed. Negatives: Our room’s door needed adjusting so that it closed completely when we/cleaning staff left the room. A bit concerning when leaving for the day. The breakfast was expensive for a basic buffet with no hot foods; it was 25 euros per person = over $40 CAD each. We opted to go to a local boulangerie instead which was much more reasonable.

A fantastic boutique property

A fantastic boutique property in a really nice part of Paris. Lots of restaurants and shopping within walking distance, not to mention a couple metro stations also close by. Very easy to navigate and see all the famous sites using the metro.
