I had stayed at Hotel de Montesquieu a couple of years ago and truly enjoyed it as a charming boutique property, which is why I chose to return. Unfortunately, this time was the complete opposite of my previous experience. Upon arrival, I was shocked to discover that the hotel’s AC system was out of service. Management did not notify guests in advance, and we were only informed after check-in — an unacceptable lack of transparency for a hotel of this level. To make matters worse, when I had to reach under the bed to retrieve something that had fallen, I was appalled to find heavy dust and dust balls accumulated there. This level of cleanliness is simply inexcusable. Overall, what was once a delightful stay turned into a very disappointing and frustrating experience. The lack of honesty about the AC situation and the poor housekeeping standards make it difficult to recommend this property anymore.

This hotel is so beautiful - wow - the rooms are gorgeous - the service impeccable - sooo safe - probably the most safe I’ve ever felt while traveling in Europe. They keep the hotel front door locked at night and they keep your keys safe for you as you leave the hotel. The rooms are gorgeous - so huge and the bed is so comfy 😭 I stayed at a 1700 dollar hotel in Aix en Provence and I slept better at this hotel than I did at that hotel and this hotel room was only 400 or so. There is no restaurant at the hotel but they do have a pretty good breakfast and they bring you juices and macaroons just such a sweet experience. Just so happy with this hotel. I will absolutely be coming back.

Bathroom was very small, especially the shower over the bath. The water flooded both the bath (ankle deep when showering) and the bathroom. Couldn’t bath baby due to the toilet position. Aircon also didn’t work - had it on 18deg the whole time, room was consistently at 24deg. Disappointing especially when how much the room cost.

Koselig lite hotell med hyggelig stemning og god service. Men fem stjerner er det vel ikke. Dårlige hygiene artikler på bad. Teppe ved sitteplass trenger en rens. Pappkopper på badet. Spor etter vannlekkasje i taket på badet. Frokosten var ok, men ikke mer. Ikke noe alvorlig problem. Et sted mellom tre og fire stjerner kanskje. Med tilhørende pris. Så hadde alt vært fint.

Perfekt i Paris

Vi hade en synnerligen bra och trevlig vistelse på Hotel de Montesquieu som vi faktiskt bott på tidigare när det hette Daniel. Väldigt trevlig och förekommande personal, perfekt städat, väldigt mysigt rum och tyst läge bara några hundra meter bort från de lite större stråken. Vi har svårt att tänka oss att bi bättre än på detta lilla och familjära hotell.
