Staff in reception were great. The hotel is old so some aspects of the bathroom were falling apart. They start the daily cleaning of rooms at maybe 8 am and I know this because we were awaken by an awful dragging and creaking sound on our floor (4th) and above us

The room was very large for a hotel in Paris, and an easy walk from Gare de Montparnasse. We reserved a room with a view of the Eiffel Tower, but the outside of the window was so dirty that we felt as though we were viewing it through a dirty cloud. There was plenty of hot water with good pressure, but the tub was slow to drain, the fixture to switch between shower and tub was in disrepair, and the mechanism to drain the bath was completely broken. Also one of the two push buttons for the toilet didn’t function. The bed was comfortable and the towels were great. The breakfast was good, but the room was far too small for the number of guests, and despite very attentive and busy staff, numerous items, such as fresh fruit, ran out. A request made at the front desk for a second pillow wasn’t filled the first night, but a second request on the second night worked.

Employees at this hotel are midly racists and can't even speak fluent English. 1. There was a fire alarm ringing so loud on our second day of the stay. We got very worried & annoyed and found out the phone in the room did not work at all. So we had to go all the way to the reception where a female staff repeatedly told us "It's just okay." without any other explanation or apology. Also when we told her that the phone in our room didn't work, she said they'll send someone to fix it right away but until we left at the last day, came no one to fix the phone. 2. At our check-out, even though we paid our city tax on the first day at check-in, the employee tried to double charge us again. If we didn't find the receipt, they would have double charged us. And still again, they did not say 'sorry' nor apologize. Overall, this is a hardly 4 statrs hotel and shameful to call one of Accor hotel chain. The facilities are very old and not quite clean.

Dit hotel is zeer geschikt voor gezinnen door de praktische familiekamers (2 kamers met tussendeur) en de loopafstand van het station van Montparnasse. Er zijn restaurantjes en winkels in de buurt van het hotel en met de metro ben je binnen 15 minuten bij de bekende toeristen trekpleisters. De kamers waren schoon en netjes. De staat van de kamers is ietwat verouderd, maar alles was wel heel en functioneel. De bedden zijn 2 meter lang. Voor langere mensen aan de korte kant. Per persoon krijg je 2 hoofdkussens, een zachte en een stevig exemplaar. Je krijgt een grote handdoek om te douchen en een kleinere per persoon. Op de kamer staat een waterkoker, theezakjes en oploskoffie. Wordt dagelijks aangevuld.

The reception is really lovely but the unfortunately the rooms massively let it down. They have clearly not been decorated in a very long time and the bathroom tiles had lots of black mould all around them. It's a shame as the location is great and the reception area is lovely and newly decorated, I hope the rooms are next for a makeover!

Great Location in the same complex as the train station. Easy walk to a variety of restaurants. Not where I'd stay long term perhaps as it's a very busy area, but I'll definitely be back for quick stays.
