An extremely convenient hotel just a few minutes walk from the Seine and the Place de Bastille. We felt it was ideally situated for access to the key places to visit in Paris. Our room was small, but perfectly serviceable with a good bathroom and very comfortable bed. We would certainly return.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Hotel Castex. Great location - walkable to many areas and convenient to transit. Staff was very friendly and welcoming. Would definitely stay there again.

On the plus side, it is in a good location within walking distance to attractions. It’s also quiet, a really important point in this busy area. On the minus side, the single room is too small for a 3-star hotel. Not even room for a chair. Tall bathtub needs grab bars. Furnishings a bit worn.
