The hotel is in a good location with shops, restaurants and bars nearby and a proper Parisian character! Easy to walk to the Sacre Coeur in about 5 minutes and good travel connections to visit the sights of the city by Metro or bus. Our room was small, but clean and okay for the price.

We had a very nice 4 night stay - we did not have breakfast but did enjoy a coffee in the mornings, which was free and very good. The staff were pleasant and helpfully gave us a replacement hairdryer as the one in our room wasn’t working. The lift is minuscule and did make us laugh when we first saw it - we just walked up and down the stairs - the lift is for a maximum of 2 persons or 1 with a suitcase! Our room was a classic double and we thought it was quite a good size for a city hotel and good value for the price we paid. The hotel is in Montemartre and so close to Sacre Coeur, metro and many restaurants and attractions. It is not a wealthy area of the city but the buildings were lovely, it wasn’t particularly noisy and we slept well in a comfy bed. The ceiling fan did a good job of keeping the room cool! Our shower head was a bit wonky but lots of hot water - and a nice en-suite! The carpet on the stairs does need to be cleaned, but otherwise everywhere else seemed clean and well maintained.

The property was freshly decorated and you could tell. However the lift is tiny - and I’m 4ft10! This could not accommodate someone who is much more built and tall. There was only enough space for my feet and small carry on. The door passages, stair way, bathroom are very narrow as other reviewers have pointed out. I was pleased with the male receptionist, he was polite. On my last day I had to shower with cold water, this definitely woke me up! The tv in my room didn’t work however it didn't make an effort to get it seen to.. on the plus side there was a fan on the ceiling.

Cute small hotel. I would stay there again. As far as Paris hotels go it was cheap and comfortable enough, I appreciated the ceiling fan in lieu of aircon. Just had a few things I think can be improved on, and will email them about it. I really wanted to open the windows and door (I had the ground floor room) but the spaces outside were not great. One unavoidable thing is the noise. Banging doors constantly from staff and other guests. Bring earplugs.
