Positives: - room had what it needed for a short stay and was clean - I was provided fresh towels and soap every day - the staff was friendly and answered any queries I had Negatives - some of the tiles in the bathroom were cracked and the bathroom itself was quite old - I used the Kitchen to wash some fruit and noticed mould on the walls

It’s was a wonderful stay at hotel residence de Bruxelles Paris-gare du nord , the room was tidy and clean . The stuff was very helpful and understanding. I highly recommend this place to visitor . Don’t let the streets fool you it’s all around Paris .

The bed was comfortable and we slept well. The bathroom was OK. Breakfast was negligible although we did get hot fresh croissants. However, there was no breakfast available on our last day. We only paid for the breakfasts that we ate.

Rather unpleasant disabled access room

For some reason we were in the wheelchair accessible room and it was more like a prison cell. To quote Gerrard Hoffnung "Bedroom with bath we have not, bathroom with bed we have!" The wet room was barely separated from the sleeping area . The whole lot was barren and tiled and stank of bleach - so at least bed bugs weren't a concern. Only staying one night but it wasn't enjoyable. Staff were perfectly nice though.

This hotel was awful with a tiny bedroom. Lights did not work and the toilet and bathroom leaked. It was situated near the station but looked dodgy. They were doing rather bad looking renovations which didn’t improve matters . We cut our visit short by one night.

Reserved one week before a night from 2pm till next day 11 am. Got a call at 2 pm the day of the reservation saying that they are full and cannot provide the room, what hotel in the world is THIS!!!??? BE CAREFUL, reserve at your own responsibility!

Everything was fine concerning the room and the excellent bathroom, except it was Saturday night in Paris. Parties were in the rooms next to mine until late night. I could hear the traffic too well, the neighbours steps above and the walls and floors were paper-thin. Not much sleep.

Perfect for low to no standards

Fine if you are young and just need a bed for your head but if you have a certain level of comfort that you are accustomed to then you will want to avoid this place. The door jam was falling apart so to be safe we barricaded the door with our luggage. The bathroom was rough but everything did work. The elevated subway is right outside your window so expect the noise to come and go through out the night.

The price was right. Good location for catching Eurostar at Gare du Nord. The bed was comfortable. The bathroom was a fair size. The room is small. The neighborhood is not good and we were warned (by our Algerian taxi driver) not to venture out at night, but we did and were not bothered. The Brasserie de Barbés down the street serves an excellent breakfast and their terrace upstairs is lovely.
