Royal Breeze was a decent 4-star hotel. Rooms were clean, beds were soft, breakfast was decent, and the showers had ample hot water. What knocked it down a point was the renovations inside the hotel and housekeeping was less than thorough. Otherwise a decent hotel and a good value for the price.

We had a good stay at the Royal Breeze hotel. The rooms are nice and the rooftop restaurant is an awesome place to hang out with really great food. The staff were generally very good with one or two exceptions. I liked that they were able to hang on to our bags when we went to the rainforest and they arranged for us to have laundry done. The area around the hotel isn't the best. We enjoyed the shopping availability and the market but there some of the surrounding spots are quite run down and dirty. We ended up staying at the hotel twice in 3 weeks so these issues didn't deter us from coming back a second time but it was a definite downside.

The hotel is very pleasant, with a rooftop terrace and a lovely breakfast room. The bed is comfortable, and the room is pleasant with a small balcony. The staff is attentive and efficient. The location is good, right across from the market. The only downside is the soundproofing from both the outside and the inside.

“Mattress” needs upgrade. Balcony door was not locking. The water from the shower and sink had an unpleasant smell. Hotel does not accept Visa cards so if you coming from anywhere in the Caribbean where most banks do not issue Mastercards Walk with cash. Breakfast was decent a wide spread and food taste good.

We had such a wonderful experience during our stay! The staff, especially the manager, was incredibly friendly and quick to help us out. When my elderly aunt encountered an issue with her bathroom being unsanitary and a bit unsafe, the manager immediately moved her to a different room. We truly appreciate their responsiveness and care. Overall, we have nothing but praise for our time there!

Room was good, staff was helpful especially the lady at the front desk. And the hotel has a WhatsApp number which is good to call when one is traveling, in order to save on roaming charges. The one issue that I had with the hotel is that they would not accept Visa which made it very challenging for me to order anything, as I wasn't carrying enough cash. That has never happened to me in all my travels as most places take Visa Other than that, the hotel is also very close to the Central market and downtown area of the city, hence it felt a bit unsafer while walking around for non Surinamese tourists, having said that ... there's a great view of the city from the top of the hotel.

The hotel offers everything you could wish for. Great restaurant, great buffet breakfast. It also offres a pool, welness area and casino. All the staff were very friendly and well up to their task. They were helpul in every possible way, from tourist tips to arranging taxi transport. Spacious rooms were cleaned every day, and towels refreshed. I cannot think of a single reason not to book this hotel again. I highly recommend it!
