The room was very spacious and the beds were comfortable. The only drawback was that there is no in room safe to keep your passport and other valuables secure.

Great staff: they were helpful and accommodating. Hotel does not have a lot of aminities, but is in a great location - walking distance to a lot of places. I would recommend this place and definitely stay here again.

Perfect mix quality vs price vs location

The perfect place to stay ! It was clean with very good space, carefully decorated, with desk so you wish to work. Quiet and very close to the Cathedral and buildings near downtown. I would book again without any doubt.

Excellent hotel in Paramaribo! Rooms are spacious, clean, comfortable, and modern. The place has a lot of charm as well. Rooftop terrace was under construction, but looked like it would provide an amazing view and great place to gather and relax with a drink. The hotel staff are warm and friendly - very helpful with suggestions and they really make you feel welcome. They booked transportation for our group from the airport to the hotel and were excellent in communicating regarding the transfer. Breakfast was delicious - I recommend the omelette Surinamese style! Overall a wonderful stay!

Must walk up 2 flights of stairs to get to the lobby and another 1 - 3 flights to the room. No lift or help with luggage. No glasses in the room, no hot water in the shower in one of the rooms and none at all in the other room. Stained sheets, lumpy pillows. Loud vehicles racing in the street, loud music all night, hotel says it is sound proofed but that is not correct. The single pane glass did nothing to limit the noise. Scary neighborhood: men walking around all hours, hollering, screaming at themselves and each other.

Best place to stay in Paramaribo

The location of Hotel Palacio couldn't be better. It is in the heritage district and easily accessible to food, transportation, and attractions. The rooms are clean, comfortable, and affordable. The staff was extremely friendly and courteous, especially Rochelle. She went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and to be helpful. Rochelle truly knows hospitality (!!), but the entire staff was amazing. This is definitely THE place to stay in downtown Paramaribo.

Hotel bom, bonito e barato.

Hotel bem localizado próximo ao palácio presidencial, assembleia legislativa , corte da justiça, catedral católica, praça da independência, casas brancas de madeira muito bonitas. Próximo ao burger king e McDonald’s . Há um supermercado chamado Happy . Staff atencioso, Sra Rochelle deu todas as informações inclusive táxi para o aeroporto por 50 dólares americanos. Preço de táxi muito caro, do aeroporto ao hotel . Shuttel mesmo preço.
