The property was charming and the room was nice. I never saw any staff. Rather like a “Waymo” hotel experience.,I was informed that there would be fresh brewed coffee available at 8:00 AM on Sat AM but no mention of any breakfast either morning. It confused me as the property is advertised as a Bed & Breakfast. It would also be nice to have more than a sliver of soap for the shower. The instructions ( by text) for entry were timely and everything worked as indicated. The bed was incredibly comfortable.

Almost like staying in a museum, such a beautiful old Victorian with modern conveniences. The hosts are great guys and everything is always spotlessly clean. A real joy to be able to stay in such a cool place at hotel prices

Our stay at Kaskaskia Place was very enjoyable. Scott made sure we had everything we needed. In addition he gave us the history of this unique Place and help us with places to eat and visit while in the Paola area.

Such a cool property! Completely remodeled with lots of character. Feels like you are stepping back in time to the early 1900’s. We will definitely book this stay again. Attention to detail was amazing. And they made us fresh baked bread.

This place is awesome! My wife and I both like the architecture and design of this house. The attention to detail is everywhere you look! The added bonus of hearing the gentle sound of a train in the distance just added to the ambience and feel of that time period when this house was first built. It was very charming and we can’t wait to visit again!

This was hands down one of the cutest most eclectic places I’ve ever stayed. The historical home was decorated so nice and the attention to detail was impressive. It was very comfortable, spacious and quiet. We stayed in Betty’s Attic. It was so cozy with unique sitting areas and numerous little cubbies and window seats. We even had a gorgeous clawfoot tub and a fabulous stand up shower. I just wish we could have stayed longer. The fresh bread and jam was a favorite too. A definite slice of heaven in a quaint little paradise town. It was perfect!❤️
