Vacations Close To Panola Mountain State Park

The staff were really kind and helpful. I would like to acknowledge that first. The rooms were big and clean. My mom and stepdad enjoyed the breakfast a lot. But outside the rooms, there were large bugs. I would encourage you to sweep up the dead bugs outside the rooms daily. The rooms also have a mildewy smell. However for the cost, this hotel is a decent option.

Had a hard time getting into the apartment other then that it was ok

The highlight of the hotel was undoubtedly the staff. However, this is not somewhere else stay again. I get it that this is a music themed hotel, however, when the music is so loud even in the lobby that you have to scream to be heard at check-in, it detracts rather than adds to the experience. At first, we were excited to be on the 10th floor with great views of the city, however, when the DJ right over our heads was still blasting music at 2 AM, we realized we would have much preferred a lower floor. This is clearly unknown issue, as earplugs were left in our room. If I was there to party, I might’ve enjoyed this hotel more, but as someone traveling with two teenagers it was not the right choice for us.
