“Nice little one night stopover visiting Bude. Ample parking and easy to find. Straight road into Bude. A little isolated so make sure you buy supplies from Bude on the way back. A few spiderwebs and bugs in the room when we arrived but only because the window was left open thankfully because it was such a hot day. Paula the host was very helpful and friendly start to finish. Will stay again if we visit Bude again.”

“I booked a single room and the room was fine, however, there's been a heatwave in the UK and it continued while I was staying at this hotel. I would have thought that, given there is no air conditioning in the hotel rooms and the heatwave was ongoing, a fan would have been provided. My room faced west so it was quite hot and it didn't cool down much as the evening progressed because there was no cross breeze - just one window on one side of the room. “The room we stayed in was rm 5 The Edge, we had full view of the beach and Ocean. The town was within walking distance easy to get around. The hotel and staff were excellent. Would definitely stay again.”

“Amazing quiet and beautiful”

“Arrived late at our stay and then realised that we had in fact booked for the weekend after! Disaster after a 6 hour drive and very little options. We apologised and explained the error to our host. Amazingly and also luckily the host immediately went to work setting up an alternative glamping pod for us to stay in. The place was immaculate, hosts are extremely friendly and everything about the trip was perfect and as described. We will certainly be returning.”

“Although our stay was fleeting (just one night) we were made to feel extremely welcome by all of the staff. The room lacked a TV, but actually this was an absolute blessing and it made change not to reach for a remote control. Instead there was a DAB radio which was playing a soothing Classic FM when we entered our rather classy country pub hotel. Everything was to a very high standard in our room.
