Enjoyed the unique decor and design of the property. Spacious room and comfortable bed created a welcoming space for resting. The rooftop bar was a plus with the friendly staff made my stay quite enjoyable. Casco Viejo area has a high police presence making you feel very safe.

Very caring front desk staff=Nashda, Jose, and Caroline. Octopus is excellent in dining room. Very comfortable bed. Never met management team for a welcome drink. They, somehow, wish to have loud music until 2-4a.m. in top floor viewing area. They even pass out earplugs for this ill-advised decision.

We really enjoyed our stay at Tantalo. I was apprehensive given all the comments about noise but it was no issue, at least not for us. The room is spacious, bed is very comfy, shower pressure is great- we will definitely be back!

We were escorted to our room after we checked in to confirm there were no issues with our room. The Day Dreaming room was wonderful which had a balcony overlooking the street. It was a bit noisy with the bar below and the rooftop bar but that did not bother us. They do provide earplugs in the room but we did not need them. The service, food and drinks were excellent. There were many shops, restaurants and bars just steps away from the hotel. It is also near the cruise port for Norwegian. This was an excellent pick for our overnight stay before our cruise.

The staff at the hotel were excellent. There is a great restaurant and roof top bar. The General Manager made a point to check in with me (and other guests) multiple times throughout my stay. The team were pleasant had helpful.

GREAT PLACE TO STAY

I WAS WITH A FRIEND AND WE HAD AN AWESOME TIME. YES YOU CAN HEAR NOISE BUT YOUR IN THE MOST ACTIVE AREA OF THE CITY. THE STAFF WAS EXCELLENT AND VERY ACCOMODATING. THE FOOD WAS EXCELLENT!!! MANY PLACES TO EAT, DRINK AND SHOP NEARBY.

if Art therapy was a hotel.

As an artist myself I try to seek out more interesting stays. Art themed hotels. I'm always trying to find something special. looking for more of an experience over comfort. This place was inspiring and colorful. the location can't be beat. and Panama as a whole is just beautiful. But staying here made it all even better.

Cool property; Great Hospitality

Perfect location, super cool art everywhere, fantastic food, & superb service from start to finish! Yes, it can be a little noisy into the early morning hours, but I knew that when I booked - & it actually wasn't as much of a disturbance as I was expecting. I wish there was a coffee maker in the room & I definitely would have liked to have washcloths (like other reviewers, I found it odd that they don't have them). I will absolutely book this property for my next trip!

Overall nice

It is a very pretty hotel. Just a couple of things. In room safe didn't work and when checkout time came we had paid for parking but they wanted us to walk four blocks to go get our own car. When i questioned it, they did go get the car.

I liked that the rooms were spacious and the interior design was super unique with artistic details throughout the hotel. Location was good with restaurants and attractions within walking distance. Downside was that our room was below the roof top nightclub which raged until 4am and was very loud. Also we asked for car service to the airport and was told a driver would arrive in 15min. After waiting almost an hour we had to flag down a passing taxi to make our flight which we almost missed due to the delay.

The room was hot, muggy, and air-conditioning was not working properly. Floor was pretty dingy and we found the bed to be uncomfortable. We were overall disappointed in the room. Parking says it's available, had to park in a community lot, pay $25. If we would have known that we would have chose another hotel.

My wife and I have been staying at TANTALO since 2017 and we have really enjoyed our time there. Some of the amazing things about TANTALO is the fact that the property is all inclusive with a hotel, restaurant and amazing roof top bar experience. My wife enjoy that for the last 7 years, many of the TANTALO staff are still working their. We met Mr. Anyelo who was our waiter from 2017 to 2024 is now considered both a brother to my wife and I. I want to also give a special thanks to additional current and past TANTALO staff. Mr. Lorenzo Robles (GM) was an amazing host to my wife and I. David the awesome Security Guard at nights has always treated my wife and I with VIP treatment. Angie has always been an amazing hostess. Rafael the former TANTALO Rooftop Bar has become a great friend and has always treated my wife and I like VIP Royalty when visiting the rooftop experience. Finally the front desk staff has always made checking in smooth and enjoyable. I am looking forward to our next visit in July or August and know that anyone reading this will have an equally enjoyable TANTALO experience. P.S It's a must to try the Passion Fruit Mohito after checking in a the delicious Watermelon juice after a long day of sightseeing. It's a great hydration drink.
