For the time of year, this was an excellent value. The room was very dated but clean. The maintenance to the bathroom, caulking, painting, wall repair, etc. was sloppy, but the area was clean. Unfortunately, three of our four days the view of the Gulf was obscured by fog, but the last day was clear and beautiful. The hotel was close to everything we wanted to do.

The beach was great, good location. The bar is closed during the week. Staff is generally friendly. The rooms are run down and not unkept. The drop ceiling in the bathroom is gross along with the tubs. The bedding is horribly uncomfortable, I can feel the bars under the mattress. It’s not bad for price.

Definitely a get what you pay for situation. Its decent for an older hotel. Great view from the our room on the 3rd floor. Our biggest complaint is they only came in and clean one time while we were there. We were also charged $50 more than what expedia quoted, when I questioned the extra amount they said I would need to take it up with expedia.

The room itself was nice and clean, but old. The bathroom had a lot of mold and mildew around the edges and doors. Shower handles need replacing (very loose). Toilet felt like it might break (bad seat or install). A saw one large roach and a few smaller bugs crawling on the floors. The beach and ocean was nice. Excellent sunsets! Wish my room had a balcony facing the beach, but it didn't. Check-in was chaotic, with long lines. Needed more staff and maids to service the rooms. Overall, a 2.5 to 3 stars.
